tjtoonen Welsh is a gifted musician, and songwriter. I feel like I discover a hidden gem everytime he releases a new project. This album didn't disappoint. The album is raw, opinionated, sometimes angry, sometimes poignant, sometimes tongue and cheek, but relevant and on point. Musically, on first listen, one might think it's a simple rock-n-roll record, but it's nuanced like jazz. It's fresh with a nod to some classic bands or stylistic of the late 60s and 70s eras of rock and roll. Worth a download! Favorite track: Different POV.

Don Schmidt I've been a fan of Joe's work since he was a cornerstone of the Kansas City music scene in the 1980's. This is Joe Guido Welsh at his angriest, but it also thoughful, wistful and packed with with great playing, killer arrangements and artful song craftsmanship. One of my favorites right now.
